Exactly...I knew that a black person (read: not a mixed person) wouldn't win...esp a Black girl)...No offense, but Justin is only there still b/c girls (esp. those teeny-bopper N'Sync and Backstreet Boys lovers :rolleyes: ) think he's cute, which makes me :D yet :mad: b/c he's taking my home skillet's spot!!! They (America) are not ready for Tamyra! Nikki got the sympathy vote (which ain't right either b/c we're all struggling! :mad:

That's alright, cuz Tamyra is a true star. She's the epitome of class and grace, and possesses a style all her own. I know she'll go far...

Shoot, if JD or Dallas Austin (or some other ATL producer) was smart, they'd already have her signed to their label!!!!

Okay, I am really about to cry right now. I had to miss American Idol this week because I have had so much to do on campus. I did not know that Tamyra was voted off until I just read this thread. I am so hurt. I was just sure that Nikki would be the one to go because she really is out of her league and she's always in the bottom two or three. I figured that since RJ was finally gone (who, by the way, lasted far too long himself), Nikki would have to be the next to go because she is nowhere near as talented as anyone else left.

Tamyra is so talented. Even though she didn't win, I'll bet that she still gets a record deal. She might even get one from Simon himself. He likes her more than anyone else and has been saying that she is the most worthy of a deal. I just hope some record company executive out there was paying attention. Tamyra ought to be a superstar.

Randy Jackson said that he will be sure to see that she makes it in this business. So her phone is probably ringing off the hook. If I was her I'd be calling LA Reid or Clive Davis. Don't worry she's in the http://www.uniquehardware.co.uk/serv...nym/dollar.gif

I read on the internet (lol) that Simon supposedly has a deal ready for Tamyra.

He admitted on Regis and Kelly that he thought Kelly would win and that he had a crush :o on Tamyra. Maybe her early exit was so that they could start a "romance". :o

I heard that on the radio this morning 2D...supposedly Tamyra was signed before she even got kicked off. There is some "fine print" in the contracts they signed that the final 10 could be offered a deal before the show was over.

See...she's already on her way then :D I heard the name of the record company is Najee Entertainment or something. We'll see.

Tamyra was on Good Day New York this morning. She mentioned that there will be an American Idol tour coming soon and that all 10 finalists will be on the tour. :D :D :D

I saw on the news yesterday, that she was in fact signed, but on the contract, it stated that she cannot release her first CD, until the American Idol winner releases his or her's.

I have been watching almost every show that has said something about tamyra this week. I am not even excited about idol any more.. But she and simon went on ryan seacrest's radio show the nigh after she got the boot. And I guess simon has pretty much signed her. They can't put ink to paper yet because they have to wait three months. The top three of idol were suppose to start recording. Then the night the idol is announced the cd is supposed to go into rushed mass production. :p

It is official.. on the fox news out of indianapolis reported that tamyra will be signing with studio 19 or 18. They are a label owend by mtv. It was funny I was watching extra's segment called the world according to simon and this is what happened.. Ryan seacrest asked him what did he think of last night. Simon shook his head and said i miss tamyra. I look kept looking at nikki thing you should not be here.. lol:p :p :p :p :p :p

I think Justin will win. Who actually is calling and voting? I'm sure it's teeny-bopper GIRLS. He probably has a better chance at winning. That's my opinion. I only recently took an interest in the show.

Anyway,

Like a reporter said, all of those who win on shows like this and Star Search, you do not ever hear from them again, it's the loosers who have become famous. For example, Aaliyah, D.C., Justin Timberlake, Alonis Morissette (Star Search) . Think about Showtime at the Apollo...Luther was boo'ed during Amateur Night. Can you believe that? Luther. Even in college Erykah Badu was boo'ed at our Showtime at the Apollo...Grambling Style.

So, these shows are not full proof to determine it's "winner's" success or the non-winner's non-success.

1. Tamyra, so glad to see you back, but DAYUMIT WHY don't you go back to your afro puffs -- the weave, just say no.

2. Is it just me or is there not one WHOLEHEARTLEDLY MASCULINE MALE among the Top 10? I mean we already knew RJ was a little funny but looking at them all now when they sang, I felt like I was missing something.

3. Quit dragging this isht out pleaaaaaaase just tell me who won so I can carry my azz to bed.

Ok WHY am I at my radio station and we have already played Kelly's new song "Moment like this" twice tonight?? The dang thing just went off a few hours ago! Wow they work fast!

Anyway I must say that I LOVE Ryan(fake Taylor Dane)and her stomach. Man I need to start on that diet TONIGHT!!

Notice that everytime Nikki sang, no one got hyped up in the crowd? But they did for Tamarya! Everytime she sang a note, they screamed. I REALLY think the battle would have been better if it had been between her and Kelly.

R.J. got a lot of screams also. He might have a short lived solo career.

Did this REALLY have to be 2 hours? They just prolonged the ish so long, I almost turned it off.

I loved Justin, but towards the end, he was getting on my nerves, there was something a little too innocent and "oh my gosh!" for me. Kelly has the total package and I think she will have a big career if she has the right PR behind her.

I agree, some of those renditions were horrible!

But I can't wait for American Idol 2;)

I'm not going to hate on Kelly, I think the girl can sing. I would have rather seen Tamyra win, but since she was eliminated (unfortunately), Kelly SHOULD have won.

I'm just really happy to see that Tamyra has a contract, and will be releasing her own CD. She deserves it.

I heard Kelly's single on the radio this morning. I was surprised that it's reallly blowing up on the radio already...less than 12 hours after the show ended. The single is really good. The production was done very well and Kelly sounds awesome. I'm glad she won...though I agree that I would have rather seen Tamyra and Kelly in the final two..it would have made for a much better final show.

I really wanted Tamyra to take it, but Kelly is cool. I hope they don't make her go on a diet to become stick thin and get all of that other cosmetic stuff done to be the "idol". They could have kept that first hour because it really wasn't necessary. The guys performing California Girls really weirded me out. There was absolutely no sex appeal when they were performing. (In my Randy voice) Justin, Justin, Justin, dude, you are so not sexy.

Soror I said the same thing. I had never heard of THIS Randy Jackson before and I wagered that he was only known in studios and restaurants but now he really was acting like HE was THE AMERICAN IDOL. Booooooooo hiss. .. . oh and Randy stick to eating mustard and not wearing the color.:p

For all of you that have heard the songs how do you like them. Justin keeps saying (in a nice way) I could never sing those songs right..they were not written for me. Meanwhile it is friday and kelly is number one on amazon. com. I really like the duet with tamyra and justin :):p :p

Y'all need to leave Justin alone! He is so cute to me (don't ask me why :confused: )...Justin is very gracious--but I think he's really genuinely that way. Every time I hear or see him he's full of positivity. He was on the radio station in my area the day after the show and he was the same way. And, I'm glad Kelly won, as opposed to Justin, b/c she is a better singer than him.

When I was watching "Extra!", Simon said the hosts aren't reallythat cheesy, the show's producers just give them cheesy lines (but nevertheless they still work your nerves).

Lastly, TAM ICK A made me cringe when I saw her ignorant, busted azz on tv making "us" (black folx) look bad...She needs to focus on pressing her hair instead of how folx pronounce her name...Those rejects had me busting up, esp. the silent night guy...

Anywhoo, I'll be watching American Idol 2 and waiting to see what good things are in the works for Tamyra (I liked her hair better than Christina's--her ish was on uggg (ugly)...
