Louisiana Tech University Alpha Lambda Chapter Provisional Member Director (Phi Mom) Initiated April 4, 2006 Senior Family and Child Studies I am applying to be a Chapter Consultant! J Favorite Phi Mu Memory: One of our sisters passed away this summer, and four of us stayed the night in this little cabin the night before the funeral. We stayed up all night talking about memories of Courtney and random topics. We shared, we laughed, we cried. These were three sisters that I was not very close to before, but after that night, I felt like I knew them and that we shared this unique connection. ΦM*R.I.P. Courtney McGuffee 7/14/85-5/23/07*ΦM |

University of Texas at San Antonio Epsilon Sigma Chapter Vice-President, Secretary, Academic Excellence Initiated October 22, 2005 Political Science I graduate next week, so I went alum on Monday. :( Favorite Phi Mu Memory: I have lots of great ones. I live in a house with my Phi Mom, my Big Sis, and another sister. We have some crazy memories. Every retreat brings a lot of memories...and then revealing for my 2nd little. She couldn't go to retreat because of a wedding so I had her Phi Mom tell her that she'd get her Big Sis at Monday's meeting and she was disappointed. Well, that Sunday we got back from retreat she was playing in our intramurals flag football game. She was in a bad mood and at the end of the game me and my Big Sis held up signs. Mine said I love my little, and her name. And my Big's said "Welcome to the family" with the O and M in Welcome where Greek letters. She glanced at the signs and hauled it towards me, completely knocked the wind out of me and knocked me down. People took pictures and it was cute. I have tons of amazing memories. |

hello!
Miriam Univeristy of Florida Alpha Nu Initiated Fall 2007 Sisterhood Chair & Asst. COB Chair Phi Mu Memory: During recruitment, I met a girl who didn't know anyone either (it seemed lots of girls had tons of friends with them) and she was like. no designer purse, not tons of make up, and the first day we both weren't wearing dresses or heels (yeah no one gave us a heads up on dressing one level higher than in the manual!). we hit it off and quickly became very close during recruitment week. we bonded through getting dropped from some houses together and going to the same houses as well. on bid day we both had little envelopes...with pink writing. I knew then that phi mu was the perfect place for me because two sets of completely different girls had rushed us and wanted us. So, I knew that phi mu was a place where I would find more best friends, since they already had one of them! <3 |
The UF chapter isn't Alpha Phi, is that your pledge class name or something? Just wondering...

I absolutely adore my chapter and Phi Mu! side note- I must have posted "2009" under my PC year, which is a total lie, because November 9 2009 hasn't happened yet. I was 2007! Whoopsies! |
