Hey sorors and sisterfriends and other GC'ers!!! I crossed the bruning sands into Delta Sigma Theta on last night, April 29, 2002!!!! I cried for a whole hour!!! I thought I would not stop crying so hard. I have waited for this for a long time!!!!!! This is the best graduation gift that I will never forget!!!! I always stop by to read the posts but I was too scared to say anything until I crossed!!! God is so good!!! He has blessed me with 12 new best friends and sisters and my son with 12 new aunties!!!! Yay!!!

I have a friend that crossed on that line as well. It was the Joliet Area Alumnae Chapter. I posted the line name in a previous post on here.

:) As a person very intrested in membership I want to say a big CONGRATS to all the new Devastating Divas. Especially korkscru. I too am a married mother. I dream of crossing those sands into Delta Land. I feel excited to just read the thread as if I too crossed. Your joy and happiness is deeply felt.

The second set of crossing information relates to the Neos of Lamba...maybe I should have put a colon or something. I crossed April 15, 2000 and the neos crossed on April 13, 2002.

In your original post you put April 15, 2002. We had/have some of your sands on GC at one point so I know the D.S.G.H.O.S.T.S. line name.

I see now...I thought I put 2000...and I call mysef double-checking to make sure my info was correct...a lot of good that did me :)

I crossed on April 21, 2002, and at 6:24 p.m. this Delta Diva was born named Ruby's DSTinction...Ruby's DSTinction was born out the line "38 Ways to Say Diva" of the Hattiesburg Alumnae Chapter in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

This has been a goal of mine...a dream to wear the crimson and cream...and it has finally come to pass.
