According to Alpha Sigma Alpha's national website they will be recolonizing at Fort Hays State University (KS) in Fall 2017: http://www.alphasigmaalpha.org/join/upcomingcolonies

Griffins&Quills 07-31-2015 09:13 PM

Good for them! They must've been invited as part of a stacking process since they were the other group that presented when TriSig was chosen, and we just didn't hear about it

Griffins&Quills 08-02-2015 08:19 AM

According to Texas Tech panhellenic facebook page, they have around 1100 registered for recruitment. I wish all schools would post this kind of information.

It's actually a recolonization of our Tau Tau chapter, which is equivalent to a single letter chapter in many other groups.

How are ASA chapters designated if this is equivalent to a single letter chapter? I'm intrigued!

Troy University begins formal recruitment today! The new year has begun!

sdtennisgal 08-03-2015 06:02 PM

Sorry, very juvenile humor here, but I could not help but thinking of Brian Keith's comment in "An Officer and a Gentleman" about "Bodacious Tau Tau's..."

Holy smokes, Batman! Things are about to get crazy!

Oklahoma State starts on Wednesday.....

Griffins&Quills 08-03-2015 08:29 PM

It's all starting!

Benzgirl 08-04-2015 07:45 PM

Phi Mu will not colonize at University of Minnesota this year. Greek Life is waiting for membership to increase in a couple of the existing houses before allowing a colonization.

IHeartUGA 08-08-2015 03:41 PM

According to my good friend, Twitter, Alpha Gamma Delta at Troy got 72 new baby squirrels!

Not sure what kind of news you mean, but it's ghastly hot here in OK. It's been over 100 every day of recruitment with heat indices in the 110-115 range.

You can watch bid day live on ostate.tv at 11:30 central today.

And, the Stillwater News Press always publishes the bid lists the day after bid day.

ChioLu 08-10-2015 02:28 PM

My cousin (AXO) wrote a rec for a PNM going through at OK State who pledged AXO!

ladybug12 08-10-2015 07:59 PM

Quota 62. Phi Mu matched 63. Have not heard about any other houses.

3DGator 08-10-2015 08:04 PM

Were the bid lists supposed to be in the OSU newspaper today? Couldn't find it.

OSU Bid Day

Lists were in the local paper. You have to search a bit as there is no article, just the lists. One new NPC member is from Dubai.

Usually it's in the Stillwater News Press not the O'Colly.

ETA: SNP has an article and the bid list.

^^is that all due to QAs or were there groups under total?

sigmagirl2000 08-14-2015 01:36 PM

That is a crazy number of QAs if they all were!

Like 128 QAs?

carnation 08-14-2015 01:36 PM

^^^ :happy sigh:

ladybug12 08-14-2015 04:13 PM

I am so happy that so many women were placed. And I could care less how may QAs there were...just that every woman that maximized her options received a bid.

I know there were some women who were totally released through the process (so sorry for them) and others that chose to drop out of the process or SIP because they did not like their options...but the vast majority of PNMs were matched to their first choice in the end.

Griffins&Quills 08-14-2015 04:25 PM

Correction:
Auburn Alpha Xi Delta 101

I would care a lot if it meant that some chapters that were at total plus were taking 20 QA and chapters that were under total were barely making quota. But judging by a comment on another thread, I thankfully don't think that this is the case.

Griffins&Quills 08-15-2015 10:48 AM

Any chance we'll get an updated total for Auburn from someone who knows?
