HC I had to put this teacher at my daughter's pre-school IN CHECK last friday.
HC this woman interrupted an interaction between my daughter and I when I was telling her to do something. HC she interrupted me, spoke very inappropriately to my daughter and told her to go into time-out. HC I was completely in shock. HC I got over the shock after about 10 seconds and explained to that heffa that it is not her place to interrupt me and discipline my daughter - while I am still there and further, I don't approve of her tone. HC I continued to tell her that if she'd like to talk about it further, we could "step outside". HC I have come to believe that this woman is racist. HC many parents - and other teachers - have told me the same thing. HC this is not actually my daughter's direct teacher - just another one of the teachers at the school. HC I ain't havin' none of that. HC I will be setting up a meeting with the director of the school and the chairman of the board of directors for the school. HC you can tell she's racist just by the way she looks and interacts with the non-white children. HC she has sent notes home to black parents saying that their hair was "too greasy" and it bothered her "allergies". HC she's told other teachers that the black children are not academically intelligent. HC I've got a thing or two to show her. HC as a young child at an all-white catholic school, I went through the same thing with white teachers, since I was always the only black child in my class. HC in the 3rd grade I had a run-in with this little white girl that called me a nigger. HC I didn't know what a nigger was, so I called her a nigger back. HC she went and told the teacher. HC the teacher explained to me that "I was the nigger". HC when I told my mother, she came up to that school and went off. HC I understand how damaging it is to a child when a teachers do crap like this to us. HC that's why I ain't having none of this mess. On Friday I did my running around? Everything was fine until I wanted to go shopping? Something happened at one of the train stations and the trains were running at a slower speed? The train I was waiting for took over a half hour to come? :eek: When I got on, it was packed and there was no air conditioning? Two guys started fighting over who stepped on who's shoes while the train was rocking back and forth? :mad: The stepping on the shoes was going to be unavoidable b/c of the rocking of the train? Through all of this crap, I still felt good b/c I turned my beeper on again and I bought a new hat to go with my outfit for Friday? I put my outfit on layaway? Believe it or not this internship strengthens my commitment to pursuing membership to a certain sorority?? I have been on a lifestyle change and it is starting to do wonders?? Its only been about 3 weeks into my semester and there is already drama??? I had a group presentation due this Thursday and NO ONE except 1 other person wanted to meet over the weekend :mad: ?? Everybody knew time was short and now folks are panicking???:rolleyes: Everybody VOLUNTEERED to be in this group and they new that time was an issue??? One person from our group bailed out TODAY saying he had too much work to do this week?? :mad: I sent him a 'nice' :rolleyes: e-mail addressing is consideration for his group or lack there of?? I will be expressing my 'thoughts' to the professor this Thursday?? If I don't pray quick I may be inclined to tell other people in my class to be wary of him??? My group got an extension??? I was relieved?? We are going to get an 'A'?? Speaking of high marks... The Canadian ice skating pairs team got ROBBED last night of the gold :mad: ?? Folks are now realizing that ice skating amongst other sports are fixed????:rolleyes: I wish I could skate?? I can't wait to see the Jamaican Bobsled team?? I wish I could ski???
