This week has been exhausting, but I'm glad I had all of you amazing GCers here to share my trials and tribulations with! Please excuse the numerous spelling and grammar errors in my story- that's what sleep deprivation will do to you!

But I know many of you are curious about which sorority I am now apart of...


















KAPPA ALPHA THETA

Congratulations on Theta! I'm sorry you got off to a little rocky start but glad things worked out for you. Enjoy your new member period and your time at Bama.

As a side note, what happened to this new member is one of the problems I see with these all family bid day blowouts. Those new members whose parents are unable to attend can easily get lost between the cracks, become discouraged and not come back if they don't have the maturity this young lady had. I think it is up to each organization to assure that no member is left out on bid day because she's there alone. One bid day buddy is not the answer.

Congrats KRTXO - Your journey has been an interesting one for all of us!! Kappa Alpha Theta is lucky to have you!!

I'm guessing krtxo might be an introvert too? That kind of bid day sounds like an introvert's ultimate nightmare no matter how happy you are to be selected by the sorority you love. :)

Only negative: the Theta Lilly print sucks. (ducks and runs). Well ... it's MY opinion. But at least it's not those scary pandas and all that garish PINK that AOIIAngel is stuck with, either.

Hmmm... okay... I think I better back away from the keyboard now.

(And hang in there. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle at the beginning. Show up for as much stuff as you can and keep meeting people. Soon you'll feel more at home.)

I heard that! LOL...at least you finally admitted that the Pepto Pandas beat the Sad Kites for worst Lilly print. It was a brutal fight, but those Pandas were pretty scary!;)
