Yeah she finally called!!!! She didn't understand why I thought she would call before she turned in her bid card. LOL I guess those are the rules and I didn't know them. She got her 1, 3 and 4 and had a wonderful time at all the parties. She said she would be happy to call any of them her home. Whew I can relax for a little bit now. Thank you all for the support today.

Sorry moms that you aren't hearing. The girls are in their parties now and will go directly to the computer to submit their preference. The Gamma Chi's try hard to keep them off the phone today and tonight. The houses have until
Midnight if memory serves me, to submit their list. If the dreaded call comes, it comes late. Some girls sneak a call or text. I'd say no news is good news.

I just heard from my daughter. She is very happy. Her Gamma Chi was laughing at her because she took so long too decide on her 1 and 2 houses. She loves them both equally and will be very happy with either one. She is satisfied with her 3rd choice but doesn't absolutely love them like the other two. Hopefully she will get one of the first 2 houses. It will be a long day of waiting tomorrow. We have to hurry up and get this over with. The suspense and anxiety is killing my diet.

Well here we are at the final day and I am so excited to find out where my daughter will find her home. I have my favorite for her but its not my decision.
Is it OK to post a picture of my daughter on bid day? I know they talk about privacy on here so much but I don't think it matters after bid day.

I talked to my daughter again late last night and she is was so happy with her bid card. She said she would be happy to call any of the houses on their her home. So I am okay today! Whew it's been a long week.

CATFAN - what did your daughter decide? Did she fill out her bid card?

Does anyone know what time the girls will find out? My DD said she thought it was 2:30 or 3:00.

When I talked to mine she said they had to be at Memorial Hall by 2 so I would say they would know by 2:15 - 2:30 PM. I have told mine to text or call this time right away and not make me wait half the night again :D

Is kappa the house you thought was "not good" based off of Greek rank? If so, this is a prime example of how terrible and inaccurate that site is. KKG is a strong chapter at uk with a strong alumni network. It scares me that sites like that can negatively influence pnm's before the ever start rush.

I was thinking the same thing! And Theta too. Both have always been strong at UK. And the Kappa house is the most beautiful on campus, IMHO.
