Yeah, yeah. ^^ I have to admit though, I was DAMN HAPPY the Giants BEAT the Forty Winers! *insert evil laugh here*
Congratulations to the New York Giants and the New England Patriots! Have fun! |
I need this game to start NOOOOOW!
Go Pats! :D |
I'd like to see the Patriots win, but I have a feeling the Giants are going to pull it off. I dunno, I just see them as kind of the underdog, here. A lot of times the underdog ends up pulling it off.

I definitely don't think it will be a blowout. If anything, I think it will be very similar to last week's championship games.. a nailbiter that comes down to the last play of the game. It will probably mirror the 2008 Super Bowl and the previous matchup of these two teams earlier this year (but hopefully with a different outcome!).
Also, I'm not sure why everyone is saying the Giants are the underdogs. I think Vegas is the only one thinking the Pats will win (and not by much). Everyone else I've talked to who isn't a Pats fan says that the Giants are going to crush them. Granted, I live in Giants territory, but that's all I've heard on tv, and it's all I've read about online, as well. No one seems to think the Pats offense can compete with the Giants defense. |

The patriots didn't even show up last night. Wes Welker missing that catch was almost as bad as the ball going through Buckner's legs.
...that game was just painful to watch. |

I don't know much about football but the Patriots missed the ball A LOT. When more passes are incomplete than complete, there's a problem Especially if it's enough for even me to notice. |

That's so lame. He won the Superbowl by accidentally falling into the end zone? This story was so much cooler when that was just a badass touchdown. This is why I don't watch this sport. Not even the awesome stuff is as good as it seems!

I know, it was just so much cooler when I thought it was on purpose.

I wouldn't even say it was the worst performance of the season. Far from it. And the hardest games for me to sit through were the first Pats/Giants Super Bowl (which was nearly identical to this game, except the Pats were 18-0 going in), and the AFC Championship game in 2007 where the Pats lost an 18-point lead after the half to the Colts. |
I was super tired when I wrote that... I totally didnt mean "try and come back..." :(
Yeah, we were ahead for a good chunk of the game, but I felt like we kept making mistakes and never really had a grip on the lead when we did have it. The giants outplayed us, for sure. I do think it was one of our worst games this season, there were so many mistakes, and to start the game off with a safety??!! I guess I was so heartbroken after this one because I wanted this team to get some redemption for the '08 loss, which I completely agree was in the top three for worst games ever, but that didn't happen, and we lost to them yet again. If we hadn't played the giants, I wouldn't be so heartbroken from that game. |

That's what's the most heartbreaking thing for me. Kraft is the reason this entire football season even occurred.. And he pulled this off all while Myra was sick. It would have been nice to see him handed that trophy on Sunday. |
Oh I think that would have been wonderful as well, the '08 game and redemption was more why I felt so heartbroken (and felt like it was so hard to see the loss), but I definitely wanted to see them win it for both Myra and Robert... I loved that they kept the MHK patch on for the big game and moved the Super Bowl patch to the other side. I completely agree with your statement about Kraft being the reason this season happened. It's so true.
