I love my badge with the letters and symbol but there are definitely several other sororities' badges that I like. I don't know how to insert photos so I'll provide links.

I've seen Pi Phi badges from years ago with fire opals and one I just saw online where the Pi Beta Phi is embossed on a white enamel with turquoise stones on the "bar" part of the badge. Scroll down and you'll see other vintage badges including one with fire opal and diamonds. Stunning.

I liked the Theta kite shape, rather appropriate since that the was the other house I preferenced. Here's a vintage badge I like:

^^^ My daughter has a rescued vintage Pi Phi badge with opals, but they're all in a row on the shaft. The Pi Phi badge picture you linked is a legacy badge -- the gems above and below represent the legacy and legacy maker. I love that idea!

I. Want. A. Legacy!

I did order one! I got it in 2017 right after they became available. Here is a pic of what I got. I bought mine in all gold, chased. It's very pretty!

That's funny - I was just at Convention and found myself sitting next to one of the women on the Rituals, Traditions and Jewelry committee and asked her if the badge is going to be extended to 2021 since Carole is now going to be Chair for two more years. She didn't know. I haven't bought mine yet because of numerous issues people have had with the quality of the badge, I suppose I'll pull the trigger eventually.

I also asked her if there would be a special badge for our upcoming 125th anniversary - she didn't say no!

I forgot to pick a badge from another org. I would definitely love a Dyer Theta badge - so elegant. I also really like the diamond Chi Omega badge - skulls and owls, very cool!

I have always thought the plain, white gold AOII badge is absolutely gorgeous. Someone posted a picture of one a long time ago, and I was just blown away by how stunning it is in its simplicity. Truly very beautiful. Whenever someone mentions a beautiful badge from another org, I always think of that badge.

Theta Chi. I love the serpent forming the letter THETA and the two criss crossed swords. The badge would be encrusted with rubies and diamonds.

UVASquirrel 07-23-2019 05:55 PM

I personally love all the ones that are the letters imposed on one another, so I would most likely want one of those. :-)

I lurve Phi Sig's badge. Tri Sig's is also cool.

With 9 daughters you'd think you'd have had a chance! Did any of your daughters attend a college with a Pi Phi chapter?
You've still got potential with granddaughters, I suppose :)

Not a one.

My granddaughters will be in college in 8, 10, 12, and 13 years. :D But...they are also legacies to 4 very Southern chapters that Georgia is full of!
