Registration for sorority recruitment has closed for the University of Arizona. This is two weeks before recruitment starts, on Aug. 18.
Last year there was a stated limit of 1200 women registered, this year there wasn't any limit I saw, but now I wonder if there was an unstated limit. |

Hi irishpipes:
This is obviously not imperative, but Tri Sigma's Eta Epsilon chapter at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida did relinquish their charter this year. They are listed as an active chapter in FL. Thank you for your hard work! You are doing a great job! :) |
I have to report KD pledged 52 at Oklahoma State.
|
Univ. of Southern California
irish pipes,
Alpha Epsilon Phi is no longer an active chapter at USC. |
I heard that Georgia Southern quota was 41 and Kappa pledged 38 women. That number may be changing as additional bids are issued.
|
Oh and South Carolina started out with 1023 PNMs. Bid day is tomorrow!!
|
Correction on CSU East Bay:
California State University East Bay is October 8-11 oops, I added an extra day :o |
Just to let you know, University of North Alabama's recruitment has not happened yet - instead of August 3-7, it's September 3-7. Bid day here is always on Labor Day.
|
Quota at South Carolina was 87 (76 freshmen and 11 upperclassmen) and Kappa Kappa Gamma will welcome 88 New Members at Bid Day today!!!!!!!
I am so proud of those Kappa Ladies!! |
bid day at Arizona was yesterday. Here's the link to the article in today's student newspaper. It states ~1100 women received bids ... if so that's crazy huge and would be ~100 new members in each pledge class ...I'm thinking the ~1,100 is how many participated not how many received bids.

Quota at Iowa State was 25 this year. I heard all but one chapter made quota, but I don't know what chapter didn't.
|
All chapters at Florida State made quota this year (several made quota plus). Quota was 57.
This is the third year that all chapters made quota. |
Delta Zeta at Jacksonville State made quota, which was 11.
|
Washington State - Quota 34
Delta Delta Delta got 41 new members, biggest pledge classes 5 years in a row! |
Tri Sigma at Mizzou matched quota of 71. I've heard that all other chapters made at least quota as well.
|
University of Alabama Gamma Phi Beta's took 105 new members!!!!!
|
Some Theta results:
Idaho: Quota 31, Theta 36 Tulsa: Quota ??, Theta 13 ("quota plus") Missouri: Quota 70, Theta 70 UCF: Quota 59, Theta 59 FSU: Quota 57, Theta 59 Florida: Quota 49, Theta 51 Kentucky: Quota 55, Theta 58 Georgia: Quota 53, Theta 53 |
According to ads in the TCU student newspaper:
Delta Gamma: 51 Kappa: 51 Zeta: 51 Tri Delta: 46 I am guessing that quota was 51 but I do not know that for sure. The other chapters' ads should run over the next week or two. |
Cameron University (OK) recruitment is Sept. 8-12; the 11th is Pref and the 12th is Bid Day.
|
At Univ. of Idaho, Kappa Kappa Gamma got 31.
|
Quote:
|
At North Texas, quota was 22, and Alpha Phi took 27!
Campus total is 85. |
LSU Phi Mu took 71
|
Texas A&M quota was 46. Gamma Phi took quota!
|
Quote:
To the best of my knowledge all groups made quota, and there were 21 women as quota additions. |
