Is that the one where they steal the tractor guy's clothes, or is that Cryin'? Either way, quality, quality stuff.

That was Crazy. Cryin' was with the hot Stephen Dorff!

Oh, I remember! Those were Alicia's best years, the Aerosmith video years. And the movie "Clueless". But mainly, the videos. Remember this one? I think it was the first one and it set everyone abuzz: Crying http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwhugXT25WU

I think "Clueless" came out at some point during the summer, because I remember a bunch of us from my summer league baseball team went to see the movie because of Alicia Silverstone. We couldn't have cared less what the movie was about, we were just hoping it would be one long Aerosmith music video.

I think the direction this thread has gone is infinitely better than the the beginning...

Who wants to worry about an asteroid hitting us??? I would much rather talk about "Clueless" - GREAT MOVIE - interestingly based on one of my favorite books - Emma

Emma - Cher
Harriet - Tai
Mr Knightley - Josh
Frank Churchill - Christian

haha! Love both!!

I didn't see Armageddon but I did see Deep Impact and loved it.

And, though John Denver's original will always be the best, I thought Chantal Kreviazuk did a fabulous job with Leaving on a Jet Plane.

John Denver co-wrote "Leavin' on a Jet Plane," and The Mitchell Trio (of which Denver was a member at the time) recorded it first. Spanky and Our Gang and Peter, Paul and Mary also recorded it before John Denver did his solo recording. Peter, Paul and Mary's version, which was released about six months before John Denver's, turned out to be their only #1 hit (and their last Top 40 hit) on the Billboard chart. Unlike Peter, Paul and Mary, John Denver never released it as a single; he included it on his first solo album.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

That song kicks ass.

Now I'm about to listen to some Peter, Paul, and Mary and Jon Denver.
