I never meant for you to take it as me calling you a stuck up b*tch. I apologize. I even said "And I KNOW that's probably not the truth because computers and writeing on threads can mix up sarcasim with hatred." I'm going to stop responding to all of your pokes because it feels as though no matter what I say to you your just going to stay mad with me.

I can read quite well, thank you. I was referring to Silmanarmo calling OTW a bitch in PM not assuming the other way around. I thought that was kinda unnecessary when my suggestion to Silmanarmo was to "be about business". Calling people bitches in any context is not business-like from anyone. RIF, Knight, RIF. maybe you should R my post again.

I thought crests weren't allowed to have the helmet in Canada because the helmet's reserved for the Sovereign?

As long as the helmet is not looking forward. If the helmet is looking forward that would symbolize royalty.

Some suggestions:

Pay for some cheap web space. The add at the top is really distracting.
Don't have an intro page. Link directly to the home page.
Try and have a more professional look to the website.
Get rid of the guest book.
Change "About" to "About Us"
Have a separate page for questions then under "Join Us" like a FAQ page.
Have the list of items on each page in the left column be links to anchors on the page.
Put some sort of copyright on the bottom of every page, makes it seem more professional.
Title the pages, right now they are like "New Page 3".
Make some sort of graphic for the banner were you have:
Loyalty ~ Knowledge ~ Perseverance

You're getting there. I'm glad you changed your pictures-they are less punky. I'd leave the cup out of the third founder's picture. It gives the wrong message-unless you are looking for a drinking club. You still have some gramatical errors.

Just curious...did you know that Delta Phi Nu is a sorority that has been in Austin,Texas since 1957?

Heh, interesting.

At least there's no swiping going on here (a la Theta Nu Xi & Phi Nu Xi)!

Please take brimock & Raggedy Ann's suggestions above, they're good ones, and for the love of god, please read and digest this information: http://www.wikihow.com/Use-Apostrophes

You are in college now, you must know when to use an apostrophe to indicate something plural versus something possessive. Your misuse of it is much too frequent to just blithely slough off to being on a forum, one can only assume you really don't know the difference and in many cases, spell check may not catch it for you. These are rules you need to know to function as an adult and eventually, as a professional.

"You should R my post again." That was cute :)

Usually when you quote a post, you're directly responding to that post. If you're responding to Silmanarmo, quote her.

Yes I am aware there is another sorority with the same name. I have been talking back and forth with them actually. It's unfortunate that their charter was revoked from their school :(

:) I'm actually working on a graphic

EmilyDubinsky 06-04-2008 12:25 PM

I think the colors look nice and I like the way the menu bar at the top looks. Just wanted to give a little positive shout out. Everyone's else criticism is definitely valid, but for your first site, you're on the right track. If I could only change one thing, I would get rid of the ads. :)

It looks like Delta Airlines. I guess they used it since Delta's in the name
