Heh, this thread sure shrank. ;)

My coworker was talking about it this weekend (she went with her daughter) and she said everyone basically knew Miss Texas was going to win. She said she'd rather preferred New Jersey or Pennsylvania won because they were more down-to-earth and "real" (whatever that means when you're talking about pageants anyway...) but that it was a very cool experience. Her daughter was busy all day Thursday and some of Friday doing events with the other Miss Teen USA contestants and she said it was a good taste of what the Miss Teen USA pageant might be like for her daughter (as far as pacing and events and publicity goes).

I wanted to see New Jersey win...i'm actually kinda disappointed that Texas won (and i'm not sure exactly why, i guess i liked NJ better)

Yeah, I was kinda hoping for Mississippi or New Jersey to win.
