Yes I do. You bring one shotglass, I'll bring the other.

It's that simple.

Yes, or No? Tough decision. How about a definite Maybe?

I'm waiting on St. Patrick's Day. Typically 100,000 people line up for the parade here. Lots of Beer Breakfasts.

Our new tradition

My husband and I have taken up a new tradition to take single friends of ours out for Valentine's Day. I remember disliking Valentine's Day immensely when I was single although my parents always got me something nice (a box of chocolate, a mug, a stuffed animal) to let me know that they were thinking about me.

So for the last several years, we've made a point to celebrate with others. Last year we took our neighbor and her daughter out. We bought them cute little gifts and went out for Italian food. It was brilliant and we all had a good time. :)

DS: you just forgot about me, huh? *sniff*
and after all we've been thru..... *sniff*

Harold and Kumar, pt 2!!!!!!! lol

So what type of three-way is this?:o

Munchkin03 01-09-2008 01:22 PM

This is my first single Valentine's Day since 2000(!!!!), but I don't feel bad at all about being single at Valentine's Day. I think it has something to do with not having any expectations or hopes for the day that could be dashed.

I may be going to San Francisco that weekend, though...I'm excited about the possibility!

ISUKappa 01-09-2008 02:06 PM

Nothing. I'll be attending a workshop 2 hours away with some coworkers, so that will [thankfully] put the kibosh on getting flowers from the hub. We'd be totally insane to try and go out to eat that night and I think we're busy that weekend. Probably a card and nothing else, which is fine by me, I think Valentine's is overrated.

tld221 01-09-2008 10:27 PM

43things.com is still reminding me - on a weekly email reminder basis - that i wanted a date for valentine's day 2007.

So they sell those on ebay and if I can get one for a reasonable price, I'm going to get it for him.

umm, wheres the thread to this scandal!

<---- needs to find a straight dude that plays for keeps.

I LOVE this idea!!! I always send a care package or homemade card to my single friends and have a lot of fun with those. This year, Mr. Fleur de Lis is getting something from VS and we're attending Spamalot (happened to be in town that weekend and part of his Christmas gift). Then I am spending a few days having a girls weekend!!!
