Soror Diamon

Please keep Soror Diamon in your prayers; she lost her father on Sept. 11th.

I just wanted to come back to this thread to say thank you to my GC family for their prayers and well wishes during my surgery last week. I am happy to report that the surgery was a sucess and I am in recovery at my parents house (thank god they have high speed internet:) ) for the next 6 weeks or so. Again thank you all

Will Do.

I see why I didn't know RBL had surgery. Last week was soooo chaotic.

Hey Phrat!

Glad to see you're doing better and that surgery went well. Guess you can't wait to be up and about so you can head to Chick-fil-a, huh? :D

(I crack me up. . .)

I will keep all prayers in mind...
and hopefully mine will be added in yours....

right now i feel like everything that I strive for is pulling
away...i climb five steps to one of my goals only to have
it placed further ahead at the ladder only to have many
complications on the way....I know all good things
come to those who wait...and if it is meant to be it will be mine
but right.....now I am truely losing this battle with believing
that soon all that I work for will be a gracious reward....
basically i am asking that my strength and faith doesn't falter
...i am slipping because i am weak and vulnerable to
the negativity that tells me to let go

so please keep me
in your prayers

Please lift me up in prayer. I've just applied for a position that finally opened up after four years.

You have my prayers as well. Keep me in mind too. I have been approached by my boss at work in regards to an interview for a new position. This position will move me up in the agency as well as pay me more $$ and I will have more time to spend with my family. My interview is Friday and I hate to say that I am a little nervous. I am excited about the prospect of moving up, I guess I'm just concerned about doing a good job if I am blessed with this opportunity. Thanks!

Last night, I was so distraught after she revealed this. I cannot imagine what she is going through. I could not even fathom what it would be like to learn that at almost 30 years of age, the mother and father that you knew were not your biological parents.

:(

Update: After weeks of searching, she spoke with her biological mother in Oklahoma this morning. I cannot wait to hear the details. :D

I'm not the most religious person. However, I know that HE takes care of things (problems, situations etc.) in his own way.

So, today I prayed for God to show me whether something was meant for me. I am not sure if he answered my prayer that quickly. But, while watching TV this man (I'm not sure what his name is) went to on to say, "If you are bitter, disappointed, and discouraged let it go." So this very minute as I have decided to LET IT GO this burden without being nasty, devious or callous "I will let it go." All that I ask from you, the GC community is to pray me please.

Thank you
