Hey, KP/RM, I would typically just sit back in my easy chair and let the fine women in the GLO threads you normally spout off in take care of you as they always do, but seeing as you are currently spreading your diarrhea of the keyboard here in the general Greek Life thread, let me just say how sad it is to see someone be so blatantly disrespectful to their fellow greek women. Examples are above. I get that jibs and jabs run rampant here on the GC boards -- and let's face it, you more than invite it with your posts -- but your sexual innuendo and double entendres are really, REALLY unnecessary and insulting. It demeans your intelligence and it demeans your letters. It's perfectly fine to jockey back and forth, and in fact, most here clearly enjoy it, but it would do you well to be more clever. Lowering yourself to the easy, sleazy jabs is downright sad to read.

I'm not saying don't jockey back! Can't you just keep it out of the gutter? Would you make sexual references dealing with one of your "homeboys"? I've read plenty of males dis females and vice versa, but they seem to manage to keep it away from the nasty side. Just don't get so nasty and you might get taken more seriously.

Hey, as long as you (or anyone else) don't come at all greasy and sideways, we're kool. Skeephistakate tried that same ploy with me a while back and I had to wreck shop with her as well. I don't play that feminist "I'll harass you and if you retaliate, I'll press charges" mess, so to speak. I keep it pimpin' at ALL times, y'unnerstan?

ETA: As far and Ooosofly and I are concerned, we both understand that this is the Internet, and it just isn't that serious, so as long as WE both understand this, nothing else really matters.

Nupe, I don't know who the original poster is, but on a public message board there's really nothing that can be done about a situation like this. I remember when that Danny Jay kid (I think that was his name) tried the same thing, and yes I was upset about it, but he did eventually remove it. Now, what if he didn't? What could we have done? I think the best thing to do is just to ignore these kinds of situations. In front of a computer that's all we can do.

Just putting in my .13 cents but I agree with you Soror. Some people on here just get a little too serious when it is hardly that. Ten different people can read the same sentence and interpret it 10 different ways and none of them may be interpreting it the way the original author intended.

This stuff gets down right retarded sometimes....that was on my mind while reading some of the posts on GC here lately...oh well...carry on...
