then again, i can agree with AF on switching bags being a waste of time: you know how many times i've forgotten my wallet/work ID/metrocard/cellphone, etc from switching bags? its so annoying. |

-flip flops.
-gauchos. -silver/white gold. As much as I like some of it, it just looks tacky on me. -plaid flannel. -empire waisted anything. If you see me in one, guaranteed I'm pregnant! And yes, the black/navy and black/brown bit is pretty bad, too. |

AF and i are so on the same page. i feel the same way about matching shades. some colors, i think its excusable (ie. yellows), others, its not (ie. blacks, beiges, pinks)
i saw a guy in the street who was going for a monochromatic look - black suit with purple shirt, tie, fedora, socks... but then had on lavender shoes! WOMP! |

Something I'll never wear: thong bikini, and ditto on the leg warmers. And I would say pink shoes, but hell, crazier things have happened... |

I've never worn crocs, but have had so many nurses swear by them that I may be tempted to try them. I'm really funny about shoes, though. :p |
Open toed shoes or sandals with hose. Especially when you can see the seam on the tip of the toe! If its too cold for me to have bare legs, then its too cold for me to wear open toed shoes.

I would never wear a sweatsuit anywhere except around my house or at the gym. I hate when people wear sweatsuits to the mall or, worse, to dinner at a decent restaurant. I don't care if the word "Juicy Couture" is written across your ass and you paid $160 for the sweatsuit. It's still a sweatsuit and it makes you look tacky.
I would never wear white socks with black shoes. The only person who can get away with doing that is Michael Jackson. I don't wear empire waist shirts or dresses either unless the material is more fitted. I have a petite frame so empire waist outfits look like curtains on me. I refuse to wear Uggs or any boots that look somewhat identical to them. I think they're hideous and clunky. I don't even like the boots on Heidi Montag in that picture that AlphaFrog posted (I think that's Heidi...I'm one of 2 people in the world who doesn't watch The Hills so I could be wrong). Some people love those types of boots. I'm definitely not one of them. |

I must be the other person. I don't recognize any of those girls. |
My Mom's always told me never to wear purple and red together. I've seen many people do it, but I always hear Mom's voice in my head telling me they don't go together. So I've never worn purple and red together.

Wow...so out of everything discussed in this thread (besides the black/navy thing...to which I'm in total agreement!) the only thing I will never wear is Crocs. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them.
My mother thinks they're great gardening shoes, so she bought two pair. One pink. One green... lol. She claims she'll spray paint them for me. Other taboo items: Fake designer bags Flannel Patterned bottoms Colored jeans (green, orange, red) ETA: Shredded anything. Acid wash anything. Bleached anything. Tie-dyed anything. Oh, and extreme flare jeans- in my heart I do not believe they look good on anyone person over the age of 15. |

Ewwww...I agree. Remember when Bongo jeans were really popular? In middle school, I owned Bongo denim shorts in red, purple and dark blue. Terrible. |
