Not to put too fine a point on it, but wouldn't midnight mass technically be Christmas morning? ;) (That is, unless it's one of those Midnight-Masses-in-Name-Only that starts at 7:00 p.m.)

Sorry -- just woke up particularly anal retentive this morning. :p

Have I told you lately that I love you??? Everyone else is being all polite - "Oh no, no one like that" - of course there is! It's like that Designing Women quote - "I'm saying this is the South. And we're proud of our crazy people. We don't hide them up in the attic. We bring 'em right down to the living room and show 'em off. See, Phyllis, no one in the South ever asks if you have crazy people in your family. They just ask what side they're on."

Ours starts around 10, there's a "children's" Mass as the "Christmas Vigil" at 5:00. So no, it's not truly midnight :p But I wouldn't call a 12am Mass "Christmas Morning" anyway.
