Troll, I mean, Drole, it bothers you enough to make a comment about it earlier... you're always quick to correct someone's grammar and spelling on this board, as are others. Seems silly to me, unless it's so wrong that it makes the post incomprehensible... then I can see the justification in alerting a poster to their spell check feature...

As for the clown... yeah, definitely one of the creepier ones I've seen.

And I've grown to like "HPRL," also known as Greek Friends. That's where I go when I want to have the big girl conversations, I only come to GC now to play :D And you care enough about my posts that you have to go search me out in another forum... kinda pathetic if you ask me :rolleyes:

Glad you like it. I prefer real conversation, even when it ain't pretty, to feeling like I'm trapped in Care-a-lot, but to each his own.

But just so you don't have any delusions of higher ground, you ought to know that BA helped start it after she got banned here -- multiple times, under every new username she tried. You think people have been snarky to you? It's been nothing compared to the way she behaved -- she's the "really crazy" Zeta who "topped the crop" that Drolefille was referring to here.

You know, last week, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, figuring you were a newbie who didn't have the feel of the place yet and who was interpreting the fairly common back-and-forth here as personal attacks. With this thread, any benefit of the doubt has been pretty much blown.

Mystic, you say that as if your opinion means much to me. :rolleyes: If GF is so bad, then why are so many GCers coming over, and worse yet, why are there so many lurkers...? That doesn't make much sense to me. Mystic, I think you're an intelligent person and most of the time I think your posts make a lot of sense. This one was no different, in that I am a newbie and I am getting "the lay of the land." I've discovered that on GC there are several people who get their entertainment by putting others down (low self-esteem, boredom, no life, whatever the reason) and that once in a while good converstaion does exist. I have also discovered that Greek Friends is a different type of Greek issues forum that serves a different pupose, which is why I chose to join it in addition to GC. I will not be bullied (mostly because I think it's all too funny now) so I'm not going to take my ball and go home. I realize that GC can never be what GF is and that's ok - that's why there are two now :D

How are so many people finding GF? I've googled everything that I can think of and the only greek friends I can find is what appears to be a dating service. It isn't that I really want to visit, although it would be nice to see what all the fuss is about; I just don't see how it can be high-traffic since it seems impossible to find.
