was because I awoke to a box of raisins that had been devoured by my chinchillas the night before. They are not allowed to have a lot of raisins--max 1 per day--because of the high sugar content in them. So, I called my vet, she squeezed us in and each of my boys got an IV of subcutanious fluid so that their kidneys would not go into toxicity.
