I'm really trying to give Baldwin hills a chance but IMO, the whole "other side of the tracks" girl just throws it off...but it's new so we'll see!

I think this show could be half-way decent if the focus was on the adults who were able to make it to Baldwin Hills (either by hard work or family legacy) and the issues they deal with with regards to class in the Black community. But then that might be a show better suited for TV One or even BETJ.
I taught jr. high in L.A. for three years. I don't want to come home and relive that misery again on television. Their team of writers/producers need a swift kick in the a$$. Where is the balance? Damn, can we get just 30 minutes of news from an African American perspective? |

I'm sorry but Moriah and Gerren look like brother and sister and not a little bit either, a lot. Don't you just hate to see couples like that? I know I do...it's creepy.

Baldwin Hills
I have tried to give this show a shot but it really plucks my nerves.
It's a good concept (in terms of featuring lifestyles of the Black upper middle class) but the cast is so wooden. I understand MTV is still trying to cast in Martha's Vineyard for a Black uppper middle class version of 'The Hills.' |
sigh.. this show is the worst

B.E.T. is now run by a bunch of white men in a boardroom. Any show of quality will not make the air. If you want to see bafoonery, comedy, or anything degrading, B.E.T. is your channel.
