ROACHES-I grew up in FL and they are everywhere. Sometimes they can FLY. I will never live there again for that reason and the hellish heat.
CLOWNS-I don't think I need to explain it any other way than, "If you aren't evil, why can't I see your face?". Plus John Wayne Gacy was a clown. BRIDGES-Even high overpasses where you see nothing but sky out of the window, or high roads in the mountains. I just know I will lose control of my car and send it careening into the air, only to plummet to my fiery death. THE DENTIST-I have to be sedated even for cleanings or I get a mild-to moderate panic attacks. Yes, I am a weenie. But they have sharp metal hooks and do have any idea how many nerve endings are in your MOUTH??!!! |

Lil things
I am afraid of ants. I think they are going to climb in my head and eat my brains. Same thig with worms.
|
Potato bugs. They scare the beejeezus out of me. I freak out if I look at one.
|
I'm not afraid of spiders you can buy in a pet store or see at a zoo. Those kind are very interesting, but I'm petrified of small house spiders.
I don't like June bugs or any kind of flying beetle, because they get caught in my hair. That really freaks me out. |
Don't laugh but old, slow elevators. Especially on a fall day with leaves inside the elevators. it's like a scene of a scary movie.
Also, heights. When I was little I was scared of dogs. But I'm not scared anymore. |
I am terrified of snakes. I hate them. When I taught 1st grade, another teacher would always have to walk my class through the snake house when we went to the zoo.
I really hate heights. I don't care what you say: Above the 4th floor, I swear I can feel the building move. |
i'm not sure at all if i answered, but for me too also heights
especially roller coasters, ladders, anyplace where I might fall. Sometimes buildings are okay, because you can forget about it, but I don't like to look straight down, i get nauseous. I also feel sick going over bridges |
wierd phobia
i don't know what this phobia is but for some reason i cant look at anything if theres more than one of them and there in the same area.....
it really scares me and its hard for me to look at things like that for more than five seconds.... WHAT IS THIS PHOBIA!!! if its not a phobia yet.... it should be hahah |
I'm afraid of being buried alive (not claustrophobia though). I also have this weird fear of fish. (Ichthyphobia??) It's weird cause I actually used to have pet fish. I can't watch fish swimming around while I'm eating. The way they wiggles GROSSES me out. I'm also terrified of finding fish on the ground at pet stores. I've seen two (squished) in my lifetime and I almost cried both times. I watch the ground verrrrry carefully and walk really slowly when I'm at a pet store.

Raw chicken. My husband finds no end to the fun of chasing me around threatening to touch me after picking up a pack of chicken at the supermarket.

Claustophobia
Elevators - I hate them! Agoraphobia Coulrophobia - Fear of clowns Scotomaphobia - Fear of blindness Agateophobia - Fear of insanity, or insane people |
Sharks, which is funny because I live nowhere near an ocean.

I learned something new today:
Galeophobia: Excessive and persistent fear of sharks "The term "galeophobia" is derived from the Greek words "galeos" (shark with markings resembling those on a weasel) and "phobos" (fear). "Galeophobia" is also sometimes used as alternate term for ailurophobia, fear of cats, because the Greek word "galeos" is derived from "galee," a Greek meaning "polecat" and "weasel."" So I'm also afraid of weasels? It just goes to show you, it's always something! |
