That's awesome! I visited with the presidents of the Western Wayne-Wastenaw, East Bay and Denver chapters and they are OUTSTANDING alumnae chapters. We all have much to learn from their hard work and success. :)

I am so proud of my chapter! This semester we have tripled our chapter. I saw all those awesome stories in the Triangle about chapters who got a ton of girls in one go. And I thought "man, that must be awesome!"
Well this semester we have 13 new members. I'm sure to some chapters that the norm. But for us that is INSANE! We are a small school. There are only about 3,000 students at our school and Greek life is even smaller. The average chapter is anywhere from 6-13 members! In September this year the ASA's on our campus had 12, The AST's had 16 and we had 7. And now look at us 13 new women who are all excited and geared up for sorority life and life as a Tri Sigma!!! Oh and did I mention that ASA only got 9 and AST only got 10? :D |
I love hearing stories like this, go Sigma! <3

Yesterday was Alpha Iota's 80th Anniversary Celebration and NSU's homecoming....at the anniversary celebration, the chapter was presented with the National Ritual & Values Award! I think this may be the first time (or the first time in a LONG time) where Alpha Iota has won one of the big national awards! So proud of my chapter!

My collegiate chapter recently won Homecoming with Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity!

I think I'm going to submit an article to the Triangle about this, because yesterday Beta Upsilon at Penn State initiated 28 new women into our sorority (myself included!) and we also have received accreditation with honors for this year! These are both huge accomplishments for our chapter and we hope to continue these successes well into the spring. =)

Are you ladies planning to have a team for THON? I'm not a huge PSU fan (*ducks* even though I'm from PA) but I have always loved THON. |
