It was pretty funny watching all the other cars race past them because they didn't pay attention to the "you can go 50 kph after this point" instructions, yet they were so insistant that they were the only ones following the rules! :)

I like having Romber in the race, but I really hope they don't come in first all/most of the legs. That will be SO boring, and do nothing to boost TAR's ratings.

That was too funny. There's Schmirna, complaining about using all of the money they have left to pay the taxi driver (yet she tries to hire another taxi driver later in the show), but when the BQs offer to pay half, she (1) tells them "no," (2) tells them to go on, letting them drive ahead of her and Mirna, and (3) whines while all of the other teams go by. What a piece of work.

Gee, surprise surprise that AXO Alum agrees with OTW ;)

I have never watched all of an AR series - just a random show here or there, so I don't "know" any of these people. So - from my "innocent" observations, I really am "eh" about most of these contestants. So far, I like Rob & Amber, Oswald & Danny (the comment about the manicurist made me roll with laughter), and Uchenna & Joyce. I am waiting for a super secret double elimination that takes out Kentucky and Scmharla & Schmirna in one fell swoop banishing all four contestants from ever appearing in public, much less television, again. What in the world was up with Schmirna's crazy "Spanish" accent with the "God save you" and pushing her bag on him? I am waiting in serious anticipation for Terri & Ian to have it out with them next week.

Good riddance to Kevin & Drew - not sure why they were even on the show to begin with given their physical state.

I didn't watch TAR back when they were on, and I missed the first episode of this season, but WTF was up with them? Did that one guy have some type of serious health issues? I looked them up on the TAR website and was SHOCKED to see that he's only 40 or 41 years old. If he doesn't have health issues, just wow.

Kevin and Drew were on Season One and were thisclose to making the final three (Team Guido, which everyone hated, made it before them). They were in a lot better physical shape then. Also, they were on the show six years ago and a lot has changed.

That's how she communicates in foreign countries -- we got to see lots it her first time around. Endearing, isn't it? :rolleyes:

LOL - much like my husband whose Japanese & Spanish sound EXACTLY alike :D

But he isn't a crazy nut job like she is - I can't believe they were on for a whole season - I have seen less than 2 hours of them (ah, the joys of DVR!) and I cannot stand EITHER of them already!

I think they were the fifth or sixth team eliminated their season. I was so ready for Colin to take them out too. Their elimination can not come soon enough this season.

As much as I hate to say it, I would have preferred to see Colin and Christie racing. They treated each other like crap, but they were entertaining...and I like crap and entertaining -- not annoying with fake accents!

Damn you Colin and Christie for getting pregnant!

Maybe I'm just saying this because dwarf people make me feel uneasy. They really do.

ok....just my 2 cents.....

Drew and Kevin - THANK GOD they're gone....their attitudes were horrible and HI...the sign says 50....you can go 50 moron!

Mirna and Schmirna - how crass and rude can you be. i was about ready to turn it off because of them. i hope they're gone soon.

Rob and Amber - ehhh....they're ok....rob's accent drives me a little bonkers but thats Boston for ya....(no offense to any Bostonites out there....i'm sure you're all good people ;) )

Eric and Danielle - I'd like to see them win....I think they're a great team and that they'll work well together....well that is....until next weeks episode?!?!?!

David and Mary - all I can say is.....WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH HIS HAIR!!!!

I would've liked to see the hippies.....I was a big fan! They cracked me up!

I loved Kevin & Drew during their first season. They're the original Frat Brothers on the show. I guess the producers didn't want viewers to get confused with (not even greek) Frat Boy #1 this season.

Danny & Oswald are the BEST! During their original season they got completely stressed and went shopping to relax. They bought some perfume and then got right back into the game. :)

I wish the Clowns were on this season. They were always good for a laugh. :D

Ummm...if you look at the link you posted, you'll see that the 3-part show was done in July, 2004!
