If I see a stranger in letters other than mine, I don't break my neck to acknowledge their affiliation; its just an interesting fact. If its a soror or a bruh, I will acknowledge the affiliation and make conversation, if possible.
One day, I was introduced to the daughter of one of my mom's coworkers. I was wearing something with my letters on it and she said, "Oh, your a Delta. I'm a ___ ____ ____ . " Then she did her call to me. I was like  and wasn't sure what she wanted me to say so I just said "Oh". Now if its someone that I am acquainted with and I am just finding out their affiliation, I think its cool. I found out that a coworker is an _____ ____ _____ and I was surprised because she didn't strike me as one although I know several. Its all good because we tease each other whenever we run into each other. |
I def acknowledge, I just feel like its the right thing to do, now whatever their response is, they can't say I was acting funny cause I'm a 'D'
I have like 8 play bros and they are all alphas, and Im not talking about what a lot may think intelligent, laid back, conscious brotha type of Alpha Man... Im talkin country, loud, thug, done been to court one time too many alphas, but not stupid at all(2 are teachers, 1 csr mgr, 1 flight attendant, 1 nurse, others too shame to say) . I swear everyone says when they meet them...these dudes are alphas??????? I know, and love many folks that are in dif groups, we clown each other, but its all love... |
