FYI: Shopaholic lovers. They have made a "Confessions of a Shopaholic" movie. It stars Isla Fisher.

Oh...and in the movie, Becky Bloomwood is NOT English.

I just saw the trailer for this! It's a little weird that she's not British...but I guess she doesn't need to be for the movie to be good.

True, but why change that? It wouldn't make the movie any less "good" if she stayed British. I don't understand why directors do that, I mean was Kinsella ok with it?

They showed the trailer for this at Twilight last night and the movie looked funny. I haven't read the books though.

Well I don't see a problem with her not being english for this movie, but are they planning the sequels to follow?

Are they going to change everything up for Shopaholic Takes Manhattan and Shopaholic Ties the Knot, etc.

I have a feeling so much more will be changed with this change, but I hope it makes it good.

I hate when they try to mainstream books and then ruin the movie, but this could be good. We shall wait and see... I am excited about the movie though.
