Everytime I hear the crap that is "Endless Love" I get the need to drive a Zamboni (not a ZIPPY one, though). |
we used the beatles 'in my life'
|
Considering
"So Sweet" by Kelly Price My entrance song will either be the following: This Time It's Love by Tamia This Moment is Mine by Chante Moore I'm Gonna Be Ready by Yolanda Adams Season by Donald Lawrence |
Considering...
"Stolen Away..." - Dave Matthews Band Considered... Tom Petty, but we couldn't find anything we agreed on. I've always kinda liked Luna by Smashing Pumpkins though. |
If you want to go for cheese, at least do it right.
Lovin' you is easy cause you're beautiful Makin' love with you is all i wanna do Lovin' you is more than just a dream come true And everything that i do is out of lovin' you La la la la la la la... do do do do do No one else can make me feel The colors that you bring Stay with me while we grow old And we will live each day in springtime Cause lovin' you has made my life so beautiful And every day my life is filled with lovin' you Lovin' you i see your soul come shinin' through And every time that we oooooh I'm more in love with you La la la la la la la... do do do do do |

Another to consider is "Nothing Even Matters" by Lauren Hill and D'Angelo. Sappy but not too sappy.
|
I was just at a wedding in Wisconsin where the father-daughter dance was to Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Pride & Joy". It was cute.
|
We walked down the asile to "Somewhere over the rainbow" (the island version) and our first dance was to "In your eyes".
It was fun because they were right after each other on the beach! |
How about something like "Truely Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden?

old thread but...
my parents used 'When I'm Sixty-Four' by the beatles. i think it's super cute without the sappy cheesiness some songs evoke... |
Oh my goodness, I never want to hear the following songs as first dance songs EVER AGAIN:
"God Bless The Broken Road" - Rascal Flatts "So Amazed" -Lonestar It seems like the last 4 or so weddings I've been to have had either of those 2 songs. I a little sick of them, lol. Whenever I've thought of my hypothetical first dance, I've always thought of "At Last" by Etta James. I think the "fun" first dances are the best ones. You know, the ones where the couple breaks out in the middle of a sappy song and starts doing the running man to "Ice Ice Baby." Nothing says love like that. |
