She is. Miss USA is also Miss Kentucky this year, although a local article ran in our newspaper saying that she chose her outfit to represent Kentucky & the South.

Did any of the contestants have gigantic breasts? I didn't think so. BOOBISTS.

With a good tape job they can!!! Miss Mexico was about to spill OUT of the top of her dress!!! Someone got a little to zealous taping her up!

That tiara is hideous. I don't know why, but it just doesn't look right.

Jimmy Choo 07-25-2006 01:46 PM

That's a new crown that has been re-designed in the last few years. The old style wasn't much better. Regardless, can you believe it costs $250,000?

If looks are everything and being tall is part of being beautiful, then there wouldn't be many short or average heighted actresses and singers out there, would there?

Umm... yeah there would because singing and acting aren't just about being beautiful... they are about being TALENTED while there are a lot of good looking actors and singers etc... there are some not attractive ones as well... as well as there are some tall ones and some short ones etc. I'm am short I have come to terms with the fact that I'll never be a model, I know I can still be beautiful even though I'm short... I suggest you get over it and learn to not take everything as an attack on short people, you'll enjoy life a lot more :)

Same with Miss PR. She's got a rack - husband suspects it's fake, though I think she's 18 and just perky still - but it doesn't look nearly as huge in her bikini.

Methinks the tapers did a real good job for the chain dress.

A large number of the women are models to begin with.

I agree. I've always thought it was way ugly. Diamonds would be prettier than pearls.

tunatartare 07-25-2006 03:53 PM

I think the pearls are too big for it. They look almost fake. Smaller ones might be nicer and classier. Then again, this is the Donald we're talking about.

CutiePie2000 07-25-2006 04:01 PM

I still like the old crown of yester-year:

Sure, it was gaudy and over the top, but really, isn't that what pageantry is all about?
