congratulations! i'm excited to have you as a new sister! i waited 4 months to be initiated because i was a founding sister of the Epsilon Zeta chapter and we waited until we had both Alpha and Beta pledge classes before going through initiation. it's absolutely worth the wait though!!!

Well, I actually now tell people about Tri Delta! It feels so great to know where you are going. Prior, I had to tell people, "I depledged Chow Chow". (Another NPC sorority.) Or, tell them I am an Alpha Phi Omega, albeit an ueber inactive brother. (Life initiate, mind you.) Now, I just tell people, "I am a new member of Tri Delta. They do alum initiations now." Simple enough and it spreads the word about this opportunity. :D

(Oh, if I keep referring to certain groups as dogs, it's only because my stuffed dogs are near my computer!)

Good job on spreading the word about AI! :) I can't wait until you can tell us all about (well, not all about.... you know what I mean!) your initiation. And congrats again!

And just random... I love chow chows! They are so cute with that purple-blue tongue! :D

I didn't know you're an APO Brother too! :)

UPDATE: I received further instructions regarding initiation. I also decided to wear a Tri Delta tee shirt to a young adults social. I was happy that many people from my were asking about my involvement with Tri Delta. When I explained about alum initiation, one guy was actually interested in contacting the fraternity from which he received a bid many years ago. :D

Wow Bichon, that is fantastic.

That's so cool the guy is going to check into it. I have zero idea how often the fraternities do AI, but it never hurts to look! :)
