When Boule (national convention) or any other large regional meeting is held in a great location, ie Vegas, New York, Miami, peeps come out from the woodwork to attend...:cool: but hit up a place like, Tempe Az, it's hard to sell out the hotels..;)

FYI not hatin' on Tempe, I'm sure its a beautiful place but folks KNOW what I'm talking about

Even if you wear a jacket (shirt, etc) with greek letters, and on each letter is written in standard Roman letters the name of each letter yet people (almost always non-greek) look at it and ask "what does that say?" :rolleyes:

-Make the Letters; don't let the Letters make you.

-You can love your organization to the fullest and still appreciate the good that comes from all the others.

-Being Greek isn't a pass to be rude to non-Greeks.

-Confucius said, "No investigation. No right to speak." If more folks heeded this advice, we could get more work done in our communities.

;) Amen...too bad it is so all totally true cause it is too long for a great bumper sticker. Meanwhile, too many seem to think being "Greek" is everything and they can just sit back and let others "carry the ball."
That is one of the biggest problems in houses, those who promise to help and then cannot be found when the need arises but this is in families or friendships or whereever...

To be Greek is to totally accept the challenge and the opportunity to be the best you can be, share it with others and blend the two to be a true sisterhood of women or brotherhood of men. Sounds hokey as hell, but if you are lucky enough to do it right.....it really continues thru your entire life. I would give my life for my sisters if needed and really know they would do the same for me. I am truely blessed but this treasure comes with dedication and belief. No easy pass. But when I receive our handshake from a sister from another chapter, it means everything.
