I'm glad I am not the only larger chested girl with this problem!!! I really want to wear a cute strappy top, or even *gasp* a STRAPLESS and I cant cause I cant find a freaking strapless bra!!! Grr...All my smaller friends are jealous....I tell them go bra shopping with me JUST ONCE and you will appreciate having B size boobs!!! I am a 36(bordering on 34)DDD...and I guess youcant have a smaller rib cage and big boobs, cause I can only ever find 38 or up, IF I can even find a DDD anywhere!! I usually have to order online from Fredericks of Hollywood. Really considering a reduction....grrrrrrr.

The saleswoman who helped me said that it was part of her training with LB to know how to do proper fittings. I was shocked that I had changed bra sizes. I ended up buying four bras because they were on sale. I agree that after being properly fitted my clothes did fit better.

Every so often department stores also have sales ads when a they have professional fitters(?) available.

If the store will do a proper fitting for you, then you should definitly have one done.

I was amazed how much better I looked and felt when I had a bra properly fitted.

I'm a 40D, and it's hard 9 times out of 10 to find strapless bras and other pretty bras, for that fact matter, and when I find one they are expensive. I tried to find a strapless one at Target, but to no avail. The biggest one availible was a 38 D. The bra had too much padding for a larger cup size.

I will order a strapless one from JcPenney because they come in my size.

Just out of curiosity, does it have anything to do with the size of the Boobs to keep those things up?

I dont know and asking from a Male Point of view.

the only thing that keeps boobs in place is gravity, and that is never fun.

my answer to Earp's question (cause i take it he's not being pervy with this inquiry)
clearly. the strength of the material and structure of a strapless bra (or any bra) changes depending on cup and bust size. so me, being a 40D/DD isnt going to be able to buy a strapless bra by a maker who used the same structure and material for a 36B. more hooks, more wires, more spandex, maybe some stronger spandex. of course this comes with less variety, less availability, and less attractiveness (hence the tri-color selection of black, white, beige).

I dont get that:confused:

If I already have huge boobs, why would I want padding to make them look BIGGER

I don't get that either, but you'd be surprised at how many larger bras come with padding. I don't know what the hayle for, lol.

i thought about this, and decided to ask someone at VS. they said its supposed to give you a smoother, rounder look, especially under t-shirts/thinner shirts (vs. seeing every crease/pattern/thread in the bra). and lest not forget that a padded bra protects against the occasional breeze;)

I'm a flabby 36C (thank you, pregnancy  ) and even I can't find something decent. Being that my boobs have absolutely no elasticity anymore, they just go wherever they want in my bras and always look lopsided and unattractive. I couldn't find a decent 38D when I was at my largest while carrying Tiernan, so I can't imagine how hard it is for you larger girls. You have my sympathy!

I definitely don't have the problem all of y'all have. I'm either a 34A or a 32B. I love the Body Ipex convertible bra from Victoria's Secret. Before I got this I'd been wearing the same Body by Victoria convertible since 9th grade.

Well, I finally found one today! :) I tried on the VS one that several of you mentioned but it still made me look funny, however, I did find another one at Victoria's Secret that worked. It's one of the new Intimissimi (sp?) convertible bras, and I like it because it doesn't feel like a straitjacket when I put it on. It looks kinda flimsy, actually, but I definitely don't need much support so it's OK. It doesn't have three rows of hooks, rubber strips, ultra-heavy-duty reinforcing or anything else I don't need, so I'm happy. Now I can go throw my old stretched-out one away.

I work at VS, and my store also just started carrying intimissimi, so I got that one for free, but I don't really like it. I think I may have gotten the wrong size though the Itialian sizing is so different, even with the conversion... I don't find the fit to be as good.

I have a bustier type strapless that is the entire length of my front torso- it is black and the back is so low cut I can wear anything with it. I got it from VS as well and as a 34DD I had to order it online... but it gives A LOT more support, of course there is the boning, underwires, hooks, etc etc etc and the large piece of rubber/elastic that is skin tight that holds my entire rib cage in place...
So it isn't comfortable at all, but i can wear some cute strapless dresses... and my boyfriend says it gives me a jessica rabbit appeal.

OKAY, in trying to figure this out, with all of the wires and staves to keep this damn thing up to make Boobs look more bigger/fleshier, or what ever, doesnt this hurt?
