Sigma Chi's at Troy State University are Great! They are my personal favorite, most of them are really down-to-earth guys that love to have fun. They are definitely in the top 3 overall!

I am a Sig from The Unversity of Texas at Arlington. I think that it is badass that so many people like Sigma Chi. At my campus we are on top. We are the biggest, we own intermurals, we have the best and biggest parties, we are on top on grades and we would just beat the hell out of any other fraternity. Some, of the soroities don't like us but that is ok we don't need them.

A bit of humility please. We, along with maybe two or three other fraternities in the nation, maintain our reputations via actions not arrogance. By the way, congratulations on your chapter's being top in grades and its strength in sports on campus. In hoc.

Your comments are important and, I hope, well taken by all...

Arrogance is a large part of the reason for the backlash against many fraternities, and the Greek System in general.

The Sigs on my campus in the late 60's were an outstanding house. I had a couple of good friends in that chapter. Men I really admired. Unfortunatly, even great organizations can change. Later, they were closed (I don't know if the university or the fraternity closed them) for general a**holery. Rumor has it that they would have been gone before that if the former president of the university hadn't been a Sigma Chi alum. I don't know if they've recolonized.

It's sad that things like that happen, because it hurts the entire Greek Community. None of us need that.
