I googled them...they are a sorority. They aren't listed in Canadian Greeks though.

OH MY GOODNESS! Their history is a TRIP! As a sidenote, could someone tell me how Canadian sororities and fraternities handle the grade situation? Is that for real?

Wow ... that is beyond ridiculous! But I think possibly more ridiculous is this Canadian rule about no discrimination based on grades - maybe someone could explain it to me better?

There's no such thing....if there was, then there wouldn't be a Dean's List at most schools....or international GLOs

there isn't any grade thing. problem was some of their founding members couldn't make our gpa requirement, which is lower than what they claim. however, if thats what it takes to make them feel better about it..... as far as the name thing, they also took our five key principles and reworded them as well as taking one of the elements of our shield and "tweaked" it for their purposes. nhq has been working on this for a while, but i don't know what will come of it. when i first found out, though, my chapter sisters and i all felt like roadtripping to canada.......
