To be fair, I think the "CU" in CUGreekGirl's name stands for Clemson University...so I could only assume then that her boyfriend also graduated from Clemson and possibly works in South Carolina.

The average salary for the state of SC is like $26,000. So, a salary of $36,000 is quite nice for that state.

Of course, I am assuming they're in SC.

edited 'cause I gave CUGreekGirl a fiance instead of a boyfriend. :)

Um, I don't think $18,000 a year is upper middle class anywhere, seeing as though that is barely above the poverty line.

In Sudan, that's pretty good money.

My sister has a few friends who moved to Atlanta, GA because their salaries were about the same as NYC, but the cost of living was less. I had no idea how inexpensive it is in Atlanta when compared to NYC until I looked at the Atlanta statistics on this website.

Yeah, and Atlanta's expensive for the South.

I am going to die when I move away ... visiting places like NYC for a few days, it is so expensive just to eat!

It says nothing about studying in the FRCP. In fact, it says nothing intelligible in the FRCP!
