I was thinking the same thing. It's her body type. If Eva Longoria wore this dress it wouldn't look too short but Serena has a more "masculine" build and this dress ain't workin'.

I don't think the dress is too short, per se, but it is too short on her.

I was on another board, and some of the posters were saying that the issue is strictly tied to Serena's athletic body type. A body like hers, while not fat, shouldn't be in the type of dress you see on say, Nicole Richie.

She has a strong, muscular build and she appears to be tall.
For some reason, the more frilly, fou-fou the clothes, the more "masculine" she looks.

One direction she can go in is more classic, tailored lines rather than going with what's trendy (ruffled dresses that are short enough to show your "pocketbook :eek: ).

Exactly. She should be visiting Bill Blass, Oscar de la Renta, Chado Ralph Rucci. Yes, she may have to be dressing "older" but that's a great improvement over the show your chichi dresses.

the dress is too short for her build. I was always the kid whose skirt would sit on top of her butt and "jack up in the back". Serena skirt/shirt/dress gotstabe posting up on that apple. Shorter doesn't work to well with athletic, or monsta booties.
