Incredibly racist comments are not "in fun". Sorry. Demeaning women is not "in fun" (i'm not talking about some jokes, i'm talking about some really nasty stuff said there, not even just about shacking but a lot worse). Attempting to reveal secrets of another org is not "in fun."

I don't have much of a problem with the site itself, I think it's funny. But I have a problem with the message boards that lets that sort of crap go on and can't believe people think it's okay.

You can't separate the racist and sexually demeaning stuff going on there from the tongue-in-cheek humor.

Give me PC any day if it means not having to put up with that kind of crap.

I never knew what a "gelhead" was until I visited Fratty.net. LOL

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree. I couldn't believe some of the stuff that was written on that message board. And we wonder why some people buy into the fraternity/sorority member stereotypes? There's your answer.

I was going to post a link to that particular post, but I refrained mainly because that yucky picture was only 2 posts down.

There are a lot of wrong things in the world. That picture's one of them. I'd rather look at the one Kitso posted of the bleeding eye.

I checked it out earlier tonight, too - what's up with the gay porn? Looks as if some of the posters have a real fetish going on.

I forget which threads (luckily!!), but at least two GC mods were mentioned by name. The whole message board looks pretty sick to me - I'd hate to have a PNM's parent see it!

It seems to me like the gay porn and all of the duplicate threads are because the board got bombed by either one person or a group of people- people who are definately mocking the fratties.

I was thinking that it was to get things on the second or third page - but surely something else would have sufficed! I almost puked when I saw the old men pictures (*my eyes!* *my eyes!*).
