I don't know what world she's living in...
maybe it's la la land..or Wonderland (though she's not Alice). I wish that for a moment I was living in her Wonderland because I'd be the queen and say, "Off With Her Head. "
 And what's so "sort of scary" about these unfortunate people wanting "to stay in Texas." Oh forbid that they try to look for a place to live that does not remind them of friends and family members who drowned or starved to death. Oh forbid that they actually try to stabilize their family life by finding permanent work in area that isn't filled with uncertainty and currently few job opportunites. Shame on those New Orleans refugees because the buildings all have to be rebuilt from the ground up before people can work in them and safely move back there. And on a completely different tangent, HC when anyone (i.e. government offical...etc.) talks about the impoverished they say something to the effect we need to implement yada yada yada for "African-Americans, Hispanics, and Poor Whites..." POOR WHITES...yes, I know that a disproportionate amount of people below the poverty line are mostly AfAms and Hispanics/Latinos but why not just say "Whites" they are stil White right. Call me oversensitive but I'm not even sure if the phrase "Poor Whites" completely really means whites who are impoverished. I think it might mean oh you poor things, you poor white people you'll be on your feet in no time and you won't be poor anymore because hardworking white people can move up in the world. Just MHO. |
