Starra and BGA irritate neighbors
From Lloyd Grove's Lowdown, New York Daily News:
Do Star Jones and Al Reynolds  have a neighborhood etiquette emergency? According to entertainment publicist Chris Hulbert, residents of the Reynolds' upper East Side street watched in horror Monday night as an ambulance with lights flashing and sirens blaring had to waste precious minutes maneuvering around a double-parked van, apparently abandoned by the Reynolds' driver in front of their posh apartment building. Yesterday, a PR rep for the Reynolds' responded: "This is clearly an exaggeration that Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds were unaware of. Their driver was in the van the entire time when the ambulance drove by. He was not asked to move, nor was he given a citation, because the ambulance drove past without incident." Eyewitness Hulbert told Lowdown: "Their driver just left it idling there, illegally double-parked on a narrow one-way street for 45 minutes. He was nowhere to be seen. Six people had to come out and help guide the ambulance through - there was an inch of clearance on each side. It took a good five minutes, at least." Hulbert added: "I ran over to their doorman and said, 'Do something!' He called up to Star and Al and tried to get them the hell down there. He just shrugged at me. The driver came down five minutes later, taking his sweet time. By then we had gotten the ambulance through." According to Hulbert - who was unable to remember the name painted on the emergency vehicle - Star and Al Reynolds appeared about 15 minutes later in their party garb and climbed into the van. "They made no apologies," said Hulbert. "I was talking to people who said this has happened over and over again. They said her car is always double-parked there." Star's flack retorted: "Mrs. Reynolds' neighbor should spend his time enjoying this beautiful weather instead of exaggerating about her personal life." |

Literally, on my drive in to work the radio personality planned to report at 8:59. But I don't have a radio at my desk.

MoNique's Babydaddy is a cutie. She was holding on to him some tightly last night. They were at the BET awards. During the post-show, we see MoNique on the Red carptet in a black babydoll dress. Baby daddy was not mentioned and he was not in the camera shot. :o

Eve's Sex Tape
Howard Gensler | Sex tape starring Eve and Stevie J.
MUCH TO HER dismay, West Philly native Eve, is the star of the Internet's newest celebrity sex video. The 30-second clip, dated Nov. 20, 1999, shows a man using a sex toy on the naked Martin Luther King High graduate while he pleasures himself. The man has been identified by the New York Daily News as Bad Boy Entertainment producer Stevie J. A spokeswoman for Eve, formally Eve Jihan Jeffers, told the New York tab that the tape was made "years ago with her boyfriend of over two years." "The fact that a private moment is being made public is a violation, and we would hope that people would respect her privacy as they would their own. Legal action has been taken to have it removed immediately." The paper quotes a "friend" of Eve saying she is devastated by the tape and has hired a private eye to investigate the leak. The friend says Stevie J. has denied any involvement in releasing the footage. Eve, creator of her own Fetish fashion line, has a tendency to take these things in stride. Two years back, when somebody was trying to sell a steamy photograph allegedly of her and another woman, she told the same New York tabloid that "I used to strip, so it could be me. Or it could not be me." The Grammy-winning rapper also stars in a self-titled UPN sitcom, and has appeared in movies including "Barbershop" and "The Woodsman."
