Mazzio's ain't tight no more and Brahms is not the hangout spot. Outlaws and Nico's Club are now the night spots. (I don't club no more though due to a few recent changes within my inner-self. )

ANy word on who they picked at Tyler to colonize??

Kevlar281 06-22-2005 06:59 PM

It’s weird how I noticed this thread after I posted in the Greek Advisor thread. (Mindy Sullivan was my Greek advisor before she moved onto UT-Tyler) I wonder how many rounds of selection there were before they got to the presentation/interview round.

bump...

Are there any updates? I did a quick research check, and it looks like AXO and DG have the closest alumnae chapters. I wonder if that will influence the decision any?

AXOeva 07-06-2005 12:01 PM

I heard from AXO HQ a couple of days ago that a decision would be announced the week of July 13.

doves95,

Asian and Latino along with Multi are not governed by the NHPC, that only covers the Divine 9.:)

Actually, no.

The alumna expressed interest before we even knew we would be presenting. She's involved in the APh and wanted to get a Gamma Phi group going.

AnonAlumna 07-06-2005 04:36 PM

I was teasing...being that the UTTyler advisor is one of your alumnae, thought there might be a little favoritism! LOL! That's great there's an alumnae group there! Those poor women probably need something to do out there!

The NHPC has NOTHING to do with greek life, and the Divine 9 are NOT covered by the "NHPC"

What the NHPC is:
National Health Policy Council
National Hydroelectric Power Corporation
National Horse Protection Coalition
Northumbria Hangliding and Paragliding Club

Senusret I is fully aware of what the N-P-H-C is as he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. As BetaRose said, the N-H-P-C has nothing to do with Greek Life whatsoever. That being said, I'm pretty sure his post was purely sarcasm.

Also doves95, the National Pan-Hellenic Council does *NOT* oversee other fraternities and sororities outside the Divine 9. The Divine 9 are 9 historically African-American fraternities and sororities and does not include other organizations as you claimed.
