Any updates? :)

I still haven't heard back from them regarding initiation location. I sent them an e-mail I think Thursday. I think I'm going to call the woman who wrote a letter on my behalf tonight and personally thank her. I'll keep you posted, don't you worry!

I am a DPhiE--and based on the information here, I have to say, unfortunately, that I don't think its DPhiE. I hope I am wrong because I would love to see another AI join my sisterhood!!

In terms of another guess--I don't really have a clue.

lake 03-21-2005 06:28 PM

My future home is not D Phi E, unfortunately. I had no idea they were founded on St. Patrick's Day when I threw out that hint. That's so ironic!! I'm sure D Phi E is a fantastic group.

Yes, I was looking at the AI roll call when I said I was only aware of one other AI for that group.

Clue #3: Their badge is NOT a specific symbol, such as an anchor or a key.

Hmmm...so it isn't DZ either...

D'oh!

Hmmm...I need to re-visit my list and give this some more thought. I'll report back with my next guess soon! :)

The B Girl 03-21-2005 10:55 PM

My guess is KD. I remember in school that one of their philanthropy events was called "Shamrock Project". It is a great organization - they were our biggest competition in college.

That would have been my guess too, but there aren't any AIs who are KDs listed on the roll call.

Congrats,

My guesses would be Alpha Chi Omega or Alpha Sigma Tau

ETA: Maybe she means that her future local chapter was founded St Patrick's Day

Sister Havana 03-22-2005 01:51 AM

I'm going to guess Sigma Kappa.

That is such a strange coincidence. Whatever your future sorority, I wish you the best! :)

SmartBlondeGPhB 03-22-2005 02:32 AM

I was going to say AGD because of the colors but Sandy blew that one away. But I think I'm in the Sigma Kappa camp.

When Lake gave her clues, the very first group I thought of was Phi Mu.

I have a funny way of thinking about things an I tend to zone in on random details. (As you all have probably noticed from my previous AI guesses!! LOL). Lake said:

Phi Mu's symbol/badge is a quatrefoil.

A quatrefoil, as defined by Merriam Webster -- 1 : a conventionalized representation of a flower with four petals or of a leaf with four leaflets. 2 : a 4-lobed foliation in architecture

St. Patrick's Day.....four-leaf clover ..... quatrefoil....."4-lobed foliage" ......

That's my guess and I'm stickin' to it! :)

One of my guesses too...the only argument against it is that a shamrock is a trefoil...

That is very impressive research! I think you may have something....
