Some have noted that Erik may have from time to time stirred things up around here. But one of the most valuable lessons of being Greek, I think, is learning that even when you disagree with or are irritated by your brother, he is still your brother. You work it out and move on, always remembering that the ties that binds you are stronger than the irritations that annoy you. The goal is that once this is learned in chapter, it can be applied to life in general.
Many of us have Erik and his ilk to thank for making sure that those who have come along since their collegiate days have Greek life as a way of learning this and other valuable lessons.
Tom, please let Erik know that my thoughts and prayers are with him.
