The Original Ape...A true brother!

Hotep Brothers! I am presently moved to tears, because after being in the "cut" my beloved brother Orginal Ape has bumped for me! Bro. Original Ape THANKS! Bro. Original Ape your explanation of my syntax/connotative meaning was right on point("point" oops! that's a slip!). Thank you my brother! It is ALWAYS good to know how a TRUE ALPHA will have his fellow brother's back and be willing to disagree/suggest different ways & means of communication behind closed doors for the sake of discretion. Afterall, ALPHA BUSINESS is strictly ALPHA BUSINESS! Bro. Original Ape, on a different accord "me" hears that YOU and Bro. Professor are in the midst of establishing a CYBER-CHAPTER! I have already put my bid in for MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN (CYBER-DOP). As explained to Bro. Professor I am bonded and will put my house in my wife's name along will all of my assets. It is unfortunate that you've misunderstood my definition of positive racism. Should you go back and read my definition, you will notice I said nothing about excluding others. I said one is so concerned with the needs of their own group that they don't have time to denounce others.

I see the point you make; and believe it or not, I share your sentiment on hatred. I think it's stupid to hate a group.

I acknowledge the merit of facts brought up by my brother, PHAShriner 1906, however offensively perceived; and I say the fact remains that the present state of African-Americans is the fault of many people-white and black, men and women. I will also say that my sisters' role in our present and future states is a unique one. The choice for mates, the denial of knowledge of the systematic economic castration of brothers, and their embrace of this "independence" movement is having a huge divisive impact on us as a national family.

I believe the root of my arguement that it is impossible to maintain the position of as you say "positive racism" with out the negative creeping in... and that is basically where I'm coming from, PHAShriner 1906, may have at one time began a quest for the sole betterment of "Black Men", but because of the exclsionary nature of that quest it has turned instead from "what we can do, to who we can blame" - which ulimately I believe is self defeating, for a great leader never spends the time to point the finger, but instead they lead by example.

Alrighty... personally I see the feminist movement a natural extension of the freedom movement - afterall if you see others breaking free from the previously subserviant role society placed on others... why wouldn't you want that for yourself? I don't understand why that makes them the "enemy" (in much the same way as my knuckle-dragging canabalistic kind :rolleyes: ) - after all why not use the movement as yet again another means at improvement and social change? Why not have positive "feminist" role models and draw women into the struggle? (I don't mean militant feminism, or militant anything for that matter).

Okay honest question time:

The Hotep and Ptah Hotep? Is that something Fraternity related or is it a reference to Ptah-Hotep the Egyptian sage from the 5th Dynasty? Or a bit of both? But if it has to do with Eygptian greetings and and "good-byes" shouldn't it just be Hotep ("peace" or "pleasing to god")?

Da Scoop for Coop (funny but true story).

Dear Mr. Cooper. Man was once stationed in far, far, far country. Him lived for over two years there. Him name was 2nd Lt. Loe but women in far, far, far country and Ms Kim crew called him Officer Hung-Low. Now shouldn't that been deemed inappropriate too? No pun intended. Him had very nice time in far, far, far country. Him intends to take son for eigth grade graduation present. Him cannot wait.:)
