I went to the Gamma Upsilon's Housing Corp. meeting today. I got to see their beautiful new house for the first time as well as meet other Gamma Upsilon and Gamma Chi Alumnae. :D

I have a chapter sister in town for a conference she's attending, and she came in a day early and is staying here at my place tonight (my first friend from college to make it out this way!)

Bought some things from Michael's for fun ADPi crafts for next semester. Sooo many ideas, I'm so excited!!

I went back two more generations on my family tree (even though it was a branch I hadn't been "attending")!

Although, for those of y'all who may get into genealogy, Family Tree Maker (the latest version, anyhow) is giving me fits!! I actually tried to completely uninstall it and then retype the 18 pages of material I had thus far, and couldn't even do that!!

*edited to add: I think I finally have it!! It's a small beginning, but I'm real proud of it!! AND, I didn't have to retype a thing - Woo Hoo!!

I got to spend the weekend in various pajamas. I've been feeling pretty crappy lately... so being able to chill out... wear the most comfy pajamas ever and watch movies all weekend was quite nice.

....And I got to spend the entire afternoon with my brother.

I got a new job. I start tomorrow. Im excited.

Y'all might laugh...

I have the day off because I have to get a root canal. This is actually a good thing because I don't feel good. I started feeling lousy Sunday evening. :) Gonna rest up and watch some CSI:Miami (he he I'll watch our sister).


I'm sure I'll have another good thing but it's only 6:51am right now.

So here's how the weekend went:
Saturday: my neice was here!!! YAY!!! And Saturday night we had a family singing, much fun.

Sunday: Visited a new church with a friend who was singing in the service.....she did great!! Went shopping, and to see Phantom of the Opera----loved it (although there were some discrepancies with the original movie, but I can overlook them)

Monday: Off of work!! But, had to go to the dentist and orthodontist. Mailed off my application for my passport---one step closer to London!!!

Somebody else took over one of my "extra duties" which had been giving me many headaches each month! Hallelujia!

It was snowing and looked sooo pretty (I will miss it when I go back to Miami on Sunday), but luckily it didn't stick so no shoveling necessary!
