Back in the day, I wanted to go to Cranbrook/Kingswood but, I'm so glad now that I didn't! The education I got in my public high school was great.

I went to a summer journalism seminar at American University the summer before my senior year of high school and my roommate went to Andover. She was really nice, actually, and we kept in touch for a little while after that summer. :)

I liked my public high school, but I always thought going to an Eastern boarding school would be interesting. Closer to home, I would have liked to go to New Trier. (my cousin went there.) It's frequently mentioned as the best high school in the state and they have all sorts of interesting programs and activities that we didn't have at my school. Plus look at their website...it looks more like a college website than a high school site!
