I GUESS WE CAN TELL THAT DC ISN'T GOING TO LAST THAT MUCH LONGER. INFACT I BELIEVE BEYONCE WILL BE COMING OUT WITH A SOLO ALBUM. MICHELLE SHOULD BE COMING OUT WITH A GOSPEL RECORD.

SOMEONE STATED THAT MICHELLE IS JUST HAPPY TO BE IN THE GROUP. THIS IS PROBABLY CORRECT, BUT SHE STILL HAD OTHER THINGS GOING FOR HERSELF. SHE SANG BACKGROUND FOR MONICA AND SHE HAD A GROUP WITH HER SISTER AND SOME FRIENDS FROM BACK HOME. I KNEW WHO MICHELLE WAS BEFORE SHE BECAME A MEMBER OF DC. SHE'S FROM IL. AND ATTENDED ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY. THE CHOIRS FROM OUR SHCOOLS HOST WORKSHOPS TOGETHER AND I'VE HEARD HER SING LEADS. SHE HAS A GREAT VOICE AND CAN HOLD HER OWN. ALL SHE NEEDS TO DO IS REALIZE THIS FOR HERSELF AND GET RID OF BEYONCE AND THE KNOWLES FAMILY. WHEN THEY SUGGESTED THAT I CHANGE MY NAME THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN IT FOR ME.

I was waiting for someone to mention that her hair looked JUST LIKE Farrah's did when she was one of Charlie's Angels...LOL

According to Michelle, she IS just happy to be in the group. I recall reading an article on Destiny's Child in Vibe Magazine (I believe) where Michelle stated (in not so many words) that she didn't understand why anyone would complain about changing their name or their image (referring to the last "lost member" of DC...I can't think of her name) when they're getting paid to sing and travel around the world. She made it sound like it's all about the dollars and the fame for her. This is just my interpretation, though.

Personally, I think the groups needs to break up, go their separate ways, and do solo projects---I mean, isn't Beyonce solo already? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif Michelle doesn't really fit into the group to me anyway b/c she looks much older than Beyonce and Kelly, which makes her stick out like a sore thumb. Okay I finally watched the tape over and over again (my boyfriend taped the game) and I noticed that they did cheer after 'Survivor'. I think it is because the dancers for that song all had on 76ers jerseys (not to mention they were talking about surviving) where as on Bootylicious all the dancers had on Lakers Jerseys. Based on watching the tape again, I am positive that they booed because of the Lakers jerseys.
