My AOII History book is out in my car. I'll get it later today and check for you guys! You'd think I have nothing better to do than look up obscure AOII History facts for you all! Oh wait, I don't! LOL

Okay, so I finally brought my book in from the car!
Delta Phi was chartered September 23, 1933. The charter was held in trust from 1937 until rechartering April 22, 1978. The charter has been held in trust since 1983. According to the history book there was never enough alumnae support either time the chapter was active. |

FYI: In Nashville, I have actually been approached by a random guy in a mall who asked, "Aren't you that woman who sits next to the guy who yells at the referees?" Good grief. It is no wonder that the Silver household has no children; Mr. Silver is always at the Vandy games (or buying Diet Coke to appease household disgruntlements:D). Silver |
So I met my brother's girlfriend this evening and she is GREAT - I would vote to keep her on the island if I had any say in the matter! She's a Pi Phi from Bama and we VERY briefly talked about SEC football - but my brother put an end to that one!

Update
It looks like things are tentatively ago for Fall 2006. A few more things need to be settled but it will all work out in the end.
|
We are scheduled to begin colony recruitment in Fall 2006. However, we will begin our PR campaign the weekend of April 8th. It's just a few weeks away! Go Hogs!
|
How did the PR go this last weekend?
|
I have heard that things went very well. My contact has been ill so I don't have specifics. Believe me, when I do, I will share.
|
GO HOGS!!! :D
Sorry, just HAD to do that!! So AOII is doing PR for a solid year? Wow...I've never heard of that before (but then again I've never been involved with such a large school/Greek system). Either way...I'm rootin' for ya!! PsychTau |

You are right in that we definitely have to have a house to compete there. Last I heard a few weeks ago, we are still in talks about housing. There are several options available including lots to build new. We'll see what transpires. In the meantime, send us some good Tulsa leads!
PsychTau2, if you read this, don't worry. The info you gave me was dead on. ;) |
::::CRASH::::
I just wanted to congratulate ya'll! We're all soooo excited to have AOII on campus!! All of the AOIIs we've met have been fabulous! GO RAZORBACKS! WOOO PIG SOOOIE!! |

oooooOOOOOO piggggGGGG soooooOOOOOIEEEE! Im wearing my hawg hat right now!:D |
Thanks, cutiepatootie.
We discussed updates and plans for the colonization activities at convention. Things are coming together nicely and we will continue with our PR campaign, though more intensely, through the 2005-2006 school year. BTW, you can wave that ol' flag and wear that ol' pig hat in this forum anytime you like. Just don't bring that stuff to Death Valley. My husband has a fabulous recipe for a couchon du lait that would even make a true razorback taste good! I wouldn't want your feelings hurt. ;) |
