Seriously. And I've noticed that some of these people in there on drug-related charges are in there for longer than some of the people on murder charges. Obviously there's got to be a reason for some of that, but for the most part I think that's ridiculous.

And to be fair, Sister Havana, 3rd degree sexual assault usually involves, say, grabbing somebody's boobs without their consent. For him to be in there until '08 for that, he must have done it a number of times -- but I'm still not sure that constitutes "sexually experienced." ;)

You totally forgot the part where he said he's attracted to men too!

I'm laughing more at the people who actually write to these prisoners rather than the prisoners themselves!

Some of these people I really do feel bad for, in a twisted sort of way -- but then there are others who seem to take NO responsibility for their actions whatsoever. "I've made mistakes and learned from them" is one thing . . . "I got caught in a bad situation" is another entirely. Take some damn responsibility! There are plenty of people out there who get caught in tough spots and don't pull a trigger on anybody.

it really seems like there's an inordinate amount of guys who classify themselves as bi in these personals as opposed to the population at large. Hmmm.... something about prison....
