I've never shopped at American Eagle, but I find items from Banana Republic and Old Navy run larger as well. However I will say that the shoes at Target rarely fit right, and I think run a bit smaller in length and narrower as well.

I found a white dress at Target last summer for 6.48 and someone wore it at initiation just last week. You never know who is perfect for it and you haven't met yet.

Agreed. Target and American Eagle both run huge.

We have a store here which only carries black and white clothes.

I always think of Initiation when I see it.

we also have that store here, marie! i was in it the other day, but here at least they do not have any white dresses yet.

one of the fgcu zta's had a absolutely stunning white dress she had bought on sale from white house for $20!!!it looked like it would have sold for $200 easily. bargains are out there if you give yourself enough time to look!!

I agree. There were some ladies who also chose to wear seperates & even though their skirts weren't too short, I definitely think they could've chosen a more modest top.

And please don't try and get away with a white button down top and khaki bottoms!

Our Parlimentarian (HELLO, the person IN CHARGE of enforcing dress code)when I was initiated came in (what I thought was) a t-shirt and warm up pants, and I assumed she would be changing into something she brought. She then proceeded to remove the warm up pants and pull down the t-shirt, and it was then that I discovered that in fact, that "tshirt" was actually a dress. And it's a good thing that she was wearing underware (that you could see every detail of) because otherwise she would have left NOTHING to the imagination.

Talbot's has a really cute white eyelet dress out right now. I think they have it in regular sizes as well as petites.
