I found the Fat Albert Website this morning that tells the plot summary of the movie. I am really pleased to read what I did. It makes more sense.
http://www.fatalbertthemovie.com/index_flash.html The website has AOL AIM Buddy Icons. I changed mine today. :D I cannot wait to go see this with my mother and brother on Christmas Day. :D  |
just from looking at the commercials, i'm not real pressed to see it. hopefully it fools me

From Patti Jackson
This is the best thing I have heard all day:
Fat Albert’s greatest hits the ultimate DVD collection arrives in stores on the 14th. This is set to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the cartoon classic. The DVD features seven hours of episodes and a 12 page companion notebook. The big screen movie version of Fat Albert with Keenan Thompson opens on Christmas Day.:D  :D :) :D I just checked Amazon. They will have it for $35. It is a 4 disc collection. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...v=glance&s=dvd |

The Fat ALbert characters remain the same but go to the movie's site and it tells you the plot. Basically the Fat Albert kids leave their time and come to our time. |

after reading a synopsis on the movie's website, it seems better than what i thought it would be. from the commercials, it just looks like all the other movies based on t.v. shows--an extended episode. but, the premise of the movie is cute.

We saw it Christmas Day at the Magic Johnson theatre. It was such a good movie. I loved the story line as well. I will say that the connection between Doris and the cartoon was a nice surprise as well as the ending.:) :D
I definitely will see this again, buy the soundtrack, and add it to my DVD collection. Soundtrack songs: Track Listings 1. The Way I feel About you - 3LW/Bow Wow/Jermaine 2. My First Love - Anthony Hamilton 3. She's a bad Mama Jama - Carl Carlton 4. Welcome Back - Mase 5. Don't Want to Lose Your Love - Christina Milian/Twista 6. Yeah - Usher/Lil Jon/Ludacris 7. Headsprung - LL CoolJ 8. All the Little Things - Joe Budden/Demi 9. Thru the Wire - Kanye West 10. Boogaloo Beat - Fatty Koo 11. Hey Young Girl - Lloyd 12. Whoknows (or other Musiq song) - Musiq 13. Fat Albert Theme - Ali Dee 14. If I Aint Got You - Alicia Keyes |
I'm glad the movie was good. :D
Were those songs in the movie? Or are they actually on the ST? In some cases, the song is in the movie, but not on the ST. |

The tracks I gave were listed on the CD on Amazon's site. P.S. The movie was #2 this weekend; Meet the Fockers was #1. I still believe that is good. I might go see it again this weekend.:) |
