Do y'all really think or CARES that what she did was wrong? PAID administrative leave = paid vacation. Homegirl is probably in Cancun right now. Paid suspensions, administrative leaves, etc. are a joke.

I'm actually with the teacher. These kids are bad as hell. I'm sure the little rugrat probably pulled his pants down and crapped on the floor on purpose. Why else whould it be on the classroom floor? I had a little delinquent in my class like that. And when I told his mom what he used to do she didn't believe me. This kid was probably the same way, so she sent home proof. I'm with her.

Actually the child has some kind of medical disorder and has accidents. The dad was on the news taking about it the other night. I believe the school and the teacher knew this about the boy's condition. I forget the reasoning why the teacher sent that "present" home. I think it was to show the parents that it was getting to be an issue because the other kids were picking on him about it.

He may have got it point accross, but the Boss-Idiot just bought his company a 1st Amendment Lawsuit. Dumb Azz!

Sometimes teachers are not aware when children have medical conditions. When I began teaching a few years ago, the nurse would disclose illnesses to the children's teachers. Then a little time after that, it became illegal to disclose the children's illnesses. I thought that was stupid. I think I need to know if one of my students has epilepsy (which one did) or diabetes (which another did). It became a case of me trying to pick up on clues.

Please excuse my rant.

Now that's a different story. If the teacher was aware of the child's medical condition that makes her actions a little less acceptable. In that case she could have been frustrated at the parent's failure to send the child to school wearing pull ups say, after several requests made by her for them to do so.

To her credit, I would be upset if I were a first grade teacher cleaning up a 6 year old's "accidents" every day.

I used to be an unappreciated special ed teacher, so I tend to side with them.

Ditto or having kids/parents proactive enough to let me know on their own.

I know special ed teachers at my old school who had to change the diaper of a 16 year old. I did not know they did that until one day I walked in and saw them heading to the bathroom together. :eek: :eek:

I highly commend that Assistant Principal. I get soooooooooooo tired of seeing boys with sagging pants. That is sooooooooooooo unattractive. And that parent needs to just get over his outrage.

Man Shoots Wife, Mistakes Her for Monkey

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - A Malaysian man shot and killed his wife after he mistook her for a monkey :eek: picking fruit in a tree behind their house, the New Straits Times said on Wednesday.

The man, 70, is being held by police for causing death through recklessness after he fired a shotgun at what he thought was a monkey in a mangosteen tree on Monday, the newspaper said.

His wife, 68, had used a ladder to climb into the tree and was picking the tropical fruit when she was shot. She was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital, the paper said. The couple lived in central Malaysia and had raised 13 children.
